While waiting in the Jetta (my other 'new' toy) at Midas for Eric to get his Jeep fixed, I thought I'd learn about this 'digital macro' feature on my new p&s. I was intrigued because my biggest issue with my last p&s camera was the inability to get in close and still have control over focus and depth of field. This new camera rocks!! Check it out...
This is as close as you can get using the typical macro function.
Check me out! I'm like less than an inch away!! And what was way cool was that I was able to focus in on the reflection of the camera in the logo. Very impressed with the digital macro... Way to go Canon!!
