Boundless Energy

The trip to NC was fantastic. Everything was perfect, the weather, the events, the people, even down to the kitten. It ended too soon! Thank you Christina & Kevin for making our visit wonderful. Here are a few fun shots I took of Daisy playing, leaping, and twisting as she chases a blue feather held by Eric.

And finally... at rest! But not for long I'm sure =)

Brr

So it took long enough, but winter has definitely arrived in New England. With the freezing temperatures, I'm thrilled to be flying away this weekend! Especially since the forecast in NC is 60 tomorrow =) Plus, I suppose it will be nice to see Christina and Powell, too. Ha ha...

I took this at school when the temps first dropped last week. The pattern caught my eye as I was walking to the door, and I thought I was alone. Of course, about 5 teachers proceeded to ask me why I was squatting and walking around the playground at quarter to 8 in the morning! Oops... Guess I must have looked a bit crazy!

Another Animal

The problem with not writing things down is that you have no hope of remembering what animal you took a picture of 5 months ago!

Harpy Eagle

I love zoos. I especially love little zoos that allow you close access to the animals. These were taken of the Harpy Eagle at the Belize Zoo. We got ridiculously close, and it was awesome to talk to the lady who was feeding the eagle.

The Time for Cats

So going home means eating lots of good food, watching at least 5 episodes of Friends, sprawling on couches, and being surrounded by animals. Since my sister Christina brought her cat home to Utah, we now have 4 cats and 1 (very large) dog. This means there is an animal for every human. If only we'd brought Annabelle, the humans would have been outnumbered!

Happy New Year!

We had such grand plans to ring in the New Year, but with Eric & I sick with colds and Kim 5 months along (and just too cute with her tummy)... We rung in the New Year in style in our pjs with video games and lots of laughter.

Wishing you all a good 2007! Cheers!

Sharing kisses at midnight.
